Namo Buddha is another mighty pilgrimage site for Buddhists that lies about 40 kilometres east of the Kathmandu city. The site is easily accessible and can aptly be visited by people of the respective religion. Known to be one of the most important, its significance floats and over the country. Besides, thousands pilgrims from other countries in South Asia visit this place, as the primary religion in Buddhism there.
This Namo Buddha Buddhist Pilgrimage Tour slakes your desire of exploration if you have always been eager to one. Similarly popular in the outer world, the Tibetan knows this monastery as ‘Takmo Lu Jin’, which means Tigress Body Generosity. Mythological stories tell that there was this young boy, another incarnation of Lord Gautam Buddha, encountered with a hungry ambush of Tigress and her cubs. He didn’t want to see them die of hunger and fed himself to the hungry family. This legendary event formed up this miracle monastery where a shrine above the hill has his statues and those of the tigers along.
On the other side of the hill stands the Thrangu Tashi Yangtse monastery constructed in 1976. A large number of Buddhist pilgrims are seen to visit these sites annually, especially in the month of February and March.

“As an explorer and a photographer, I really had a great time in the country. Feels good, but unpleasant someway to leave with nothing but memories and photographs. It was fun where Himalayan Pilgrimage Journeytook me to.
