As the name suggest, Buddhist Pilgrimage Tour takes you all the way through the sites in the city, related to Buddhism. Nepal is the birthplace of Lord Gautam Buddha. To indicate precisely, he was born in Kapilvastu, Lumbini of Nepal. For this reason, the place is considered the most significant of all. Lumbini comprises of a large monastic zone that depicts the true form of Buddhism existence.

Our Kathmandu Buddhist Pilgrimage Tour lets you visit some of the major related sites in the city. Buddhism sites in Kathmandu include the Swayambhunath, Boudha Stupa, White Gumba, and several other small monasteries. Nepal has a large population who follow Buddhism and highly respect this religion. Pilgrims from far across the world enter Nepal for a short visit and exploration combined trip. We shall get into these historical structures and learn a lot of things about them. Each of them has a rich history behind that somehow relates to some historical events in the past.

  • Nepal entry visa fee [Visa fees US$ 25 or equivalent foreign currency for Tourist Visa with Multiple Entry for 15 days, US$ 40 or equivalent foreign currency for Tourist Visa with Multiple Entry for 30 days & US$ 100 or equivalent foreign currency for Tourist Visa with Multiple Entry for 100 days.][ Visa can be easily issued upon the arrival of Tribhuvan International Airport, Kathmandu which will require 2 passport size photos]

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu [1,300m/4,264ft]. Transfer to hotel. Hotel overnight

Day 02: Full day Kathmandu sightseeing tour and trek preparations. Hotel overnight

Day 03: This day, visit the major sites for Buddhist pilgrims inside the Kathmandu valley. Sites include the Swayambhunath Temple, Maha Boudha and several other monasteries and Gumbas. Back to hotel in the evening and stay overnight

Day 04: Final departure
